This was the second series of Sonic cartoons to be released and easily the most popular amongst Sonic fans. This time, the creators decided to take a darker approach to the Sonic story. Robotnik was actually quite scary (well, from a child's point of view) and was convincingly evil! He had a stupid right hand man named Snively and was constantly trying to kill the freedom fighters and capture Princess Sally.
