Back at the Institute the Freedom Fighters are boarding their time machine for the transit-jump into the space-time continum via hyperspace-lightspeed. They are using the Time Train (Time vehicle used in the finale of Back To The Future III) to seek out another energy source in order to save Earth from being destroyed by the New World Order. Ace and Emmett are inside the cab of the train while the other members of the Resistance are seated inside the coach section. EMMETT BROWN: All systems are on green light and ready. ACE: Okay, father. Commence takeoff. EMMETT BROWN: Here we go. Then the Time Train rises into the air via its hover propulsion system until it was several feet in the air then rotates about and accellerates forwards through the air, picking up speed as it races faster and faster until 88mph is achieved. Then the familiar blue-white lightning aura-field surrounds the Time Train with crackling-sparking electricity and power and then, in the next moment with a loud whooshing sound the time machine leaps forwards like a racehorse out of the starting gate and disappears into the space-time continum barrier with a loud explosion until nothing is seen but flaming streaks of fire in the sky. Seconds later...another time machine also jumps into the time barrier in hot pursuit as the Syndicate terrorists attempt to follow their enemy in search of that energy source. Commander Borf is determined to beat Space Ace to the prize first and return home to conquer the universe. Onboard the Time Train father and son pilot their time vehicle enroute to reach their destination but they have no idea what-so-ever that they are being followed by the nWo forces. That is until Chuck Thorndyke comes into the cab to help his nephew and twin brother and happens to glance at the radar scanners that shows an unidentified blip appearing immediately. CHUCK THORNDYKE: Uh, bro? EMMETT BROWN: Huh? What is it. CHUCK THORNDYKE: There's something on the radar you'd better take a look at it. ACE: What, where? EMMETT BROWN: Huuuuuh?!! Great Scott! We are being followed. CHUCK THORNDYKE: Looks that way...and I think I know who. ACE: Oh, no...the Syndicate! EMMETT BROWN: Then that means the Syndicate are trying to beat us to find this energy source before we do! We cannot allow that to happen. ACE: No, we must not permit the nWo to conquer the future. CHUCK THORNDYKE: In that case, time for evasive action. Ace takes control from his father and starts making evasive manuvers to shake off his enemy but so far Borf does not fall for this trickery. DR. EGGMAN: Boss, we have been detected. BORF: Stay with them, follow them. DR. EGGMAN: Yes sir! BORF: I will not let Ace win this war and embarrasse me like many times before. Now both time machines start a dangerous game of catch-me-if-you-can through hyperspace-lightspeed bobbing and weaving side to side. BELLADONNA: Let's just blow them away, they've seen us. BORF: No, I want to know what they're after, then we kill them. Prepare the tractor beam. The nWo time machine the SkyHunter manuvers alongside the Time Train and shoots forth the invisible energy beam that locks onto the hull of the Freedom Fighter's craft. Now both ships are held together unable to break apart. EMMETT BROWN: Jumping giggawatts! ACE: Fire the weapons! CHUCK THORNDYKE: Aye-aye, nephew. Launching photon torpedoes & phasers. The laser bolts and torpedoes streak away to impact against the SkyHunter but bounce harmlessly off its deflector shields. ROUGE: What-the?! BELLADONNA: Then we should fire back now! ROUGE: Fire in the hole, hahahahahaah! DR. EGGMAN: Hoooo-hahahahahaah! Let them have it, knock out their shields. Now the Empire's weapons launch away to strike against the deflector shields of the Resistance time machine but with no damage. Now the commander gives the next command. BORF: Release the boarding chutes! Airlock tubes extend outward to attach themselves onto the doorway hatchway of the Time Train and the nWo terrorists prepare to cross over and board the Freedom Fighters ship. Onboard the Resistance craft the humans and mutants ready themselves for mortal kombat. SONIC: They're coming aboard. KNUCKLES: I'm ready to rumble. TAILS-AMY-SALLY: DEATH TO THE SYNDICATE!!! ACE: Standby to repel boarders. Suddenly the hatchway explodes, blows inward by a powerful blast from the outside. Through the smoke and haze that obscures everything for the moment, then clears...the familiar figures of the Syndicate charge into the interior of the Time Train. ACE: Attack! Defeat the nWo, let the light shine for the future! And the wargames begin with fists flying, feet kicking, headbutting, etc. Humans and mutants clash in hardcore-style wrestling techniques back and forth when suddenly a tremendous vibration shakes the time machine throwing everybody to the floor, pinning them down as if held by an invisible giant hand. EMMETT BROWN: Great Scott, what's happening?!! MARTY MCFLY: Doc! G-Forces, they're dragging us down! CHRIS THORNDYKE: We're going down! We're gonna crash! BIFF TANNEN: Aaaaaaaaaugh! Totally out of control both ships re-emerge from hyperspace-lightspeed and hurtle helplessly into the atmosphere of another planet in their path. At that precise moment the tractor beam holding the two time machines together malfunctions, releasing the SkyHunter from the Time Train which goes spinning off in one direction while the Time Train continues its freefall towards the ground far below. At the last second before impact the onboard computers kick in, activating the anti-gravity systems to slow the descent just a few inches above the ground allowing for a not-so-hard crashlanding but unfortunately the Resistance time vehicle bounces several times like a pebble or stone being thrown across the surface of water before it sinks. Finally it touches down and slides to a bone-jarring stop and all remains quiet for a very long time. All onboard are unconscious, sprawled or slumped in unpleasant postures inside...that is, until one of them regains consciousness and stirs awake! Rouge, the female bat groans, shakes her head and blinks her eyes while struggling to regain her senses and sits up. ROUGE: Oooooh, my head, my back. Huh, what happened? Where am I, am I dead? Then she spots the limp form of the space pirate facedown nearby and hurries to his side. Kneeling over his body Rouge begins using the magic from her morpher ring to revive her leader. ROUGE: Borf, can you hear me? Wake up! BORF: ROUGE: Oh, thank god. BORF: I am? ROUGE: I don't know, sir. We crashlanded somewhere. BORF: Quickly, help me revive the other Syndicate forces. ROUGE: Yes sir! And together the two use their powers to awaken the rest of the nWo terrorists until the entire gang is alive and well so to speak. Now, with the magic of their morpher rings the terrorists fly out of the blasted hole in the side of the Freedom Fighters time vehicle and skywards until standing high atop a nearby ridge or plateau to gaze at their new surroundings. BORF: Much time has passed. We are on a planet far from Hill Valley but our mission has not changed. NINJARA: How do we know Hill Valley still exists? BORF: It must exist. And if this land is filled with resources, we shall return home with the power to build the ultimate weapon and conquer the universe. So they start walking away when laserfire attracts their attention and they all turn as one to see where it's coming from, only to discover it's the witch firing down on the Time Train. DR. EGGMAN: Witch? What in blazes are you doing?!! BELLADONNA: I'm just saying goodbye, ha-hah. DR. EGGMAN: Oh, I see you're leaving behind your calling card, eh? BELLADONNA: Exactly. BORF: Save your magic, the Resistance have taken their, heh-heh-heeh, last flight. DR. EGGMAN: They have? BORF: Never mind, doctor...leave it. DR. EGGMAN: Of course, commander. Then again the Syndicate walk off, but Belladonna remains behind for awhile as she continues firing energy bolts and fireballs down onto the Freedom Fighter's time vehicle in her attempt to destroy it. BELLADONNA: Thanks for the ride, Doc Brown. What a pity you can't go the rest of the way, hahahahahahahaah!!! Then, still cackling with glee she flies away on her batwings. Back inside the Time Train having survived the onslaught of the witch's magic the Freedom Fighters are also starting to revive themselves and trying to figure out exactly where they are, or...when they are in space & time itself. But while they attempt to solve this puzzle, meanwhile the nWo begin their journey in search of a new homebase at the moment before beginning their quest of stealing energy resources. |
