When the New World Order attacked their first target, an oil-rig platform where workers were busy drilling for oil beneath the ocean they scattered the panicking terrans (another term for human) off the platform, many jumped into the sea to get away from these terrorists and then began helping themselves to the oil by pumping it into energon cubes then compressing them down into glowing-sparkling rainbow-color cubes of humming energy. Belladonna gets all excited figuring this mission was already completed so quickly.
BELLADONNA We did it, we did it Borf. The energy is ours, we can go back to Hill Valley. BORF You fool, Belladonna. This is but a small fraction of the energy we need. We must suck this planet Earth dry. Just then the witch whippet happens to see something in the sky behind her boss and turns in that direction to look. Suddenly her eyes go wide, mouth open and she screams. BELLADONNA AAAAAAAAAAAAH! It's the Freedom Fighters! Hearing her scream, Borf spins around to look for himself and is startled to spot his arch enemy, his adversary & rival descending upon him like an avenging angel from heaven. Behind Space Ace is Doc Brown and the rest of the family swooping down to stop the Syndicate. Borf's face turns red with anger and rage as he shouts instructions to his terrorist warriors. BORF Syndicate, transform and attack! In minutes the space pirate morphs into his form of an M1-A1 tank and blasts skywards with his barrel sending laser bolts into the air to knock out his targets but the Resistance manage to avoid all the shots headed their way and touchdown onto the platform. One by one they charge the nWo with laserguns blazing away who immediately respond to this threat. Borf remorphs back to true self to face off against his rival. BORF Don't interfere Ace. ACE Give it up Borf. BORF The universe is mine. All around the wargames commence with good and evil fighting hardcore-wrestling style techniques in dropkicks, slams, suplexes, DDTs, piledrivers, clotheslines, etc. Ace and Borf are trading blows when the Terminator form of Laserbeak screams down and pecks at the Hero of Earth who swats angrily at the annoying machine parrot but it flies just out of his grasp. Borf levitates himself into the air with the aid of his morpher and leers down at Ace. BORF So long, Space Ace, have a nice swim. The energy bolt hits the support legs beneath the platform, taking them out immediately and causing the structure to collapse into the sea! Helplessly the Freedom Fighters slide off the rig into the waters one by one and begin floundering about like dolphins or whales. Oil drums rupture and spill their flammable contents into the sea which gives Borf an evil idea. BORF Here's something to keep you warm. Suddenly without warning the drums explode upon impact from the beam striking them! Instantly flames whoosh outward and spread across the oil-slick on the water's surface creating a SEA OF FIRE that engulfs, surrounds the Resistance and the platform workers too. Laughing menacingly at his cruel handywork, Borf and his goons fly away into the distance carrying their stolen loot so to speak until they are gone. Ace and family struggle to survive and avoid being burned by the flames when cries for help can be heard. CERI BOBCAT Help, help! We can't get out! VICKI FOX Somebody save us! It turns out to be some innocent bystanders who were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Vicki Fox, news reporter for Apoka Press, her friend Ceri Bobcat the artist, Aussie Skunk the sports reporter & photographer for Apoka Press, Meredith Skunk the college student & Aussie's girlfriend and so forth who are trapped, pinned beneath fallen steel beams and cannot escape. Immediately Ace swims to their rescue. AUSSIE SKUNK The fire, it's coming closer! MEREDITH SKUNK We'll be burned alive! Ace heaves against the steel beams as he attempts to lift them away but cannot seem to budge them at the moment. ACE I can't lift it, too heavy. Grab onto me but don't panic, stay calm or you'll drown us all. Vicki and Ceri do just that, grabbing onto this stranger around his neck & shoulders while Aussie and Meredith cower in fear. All around the other Resistance members struggle to save themselves as well from the SEA OF FIRE that's slowly closing in around them. TAILS My arm! It's jammed in here, I can't get it out! The fox mechanic genius accidentally got one or both his arms pinned between some steel beams and is struggling frantically to pull free but is stuck. Just then a shout gets his attention and he looks up to see the familiar form of Knuckles swimming his way. KNUCKLES I'll get you loose Tails, don't panic! TAILS There's two things I really hate Knuckles. As the guardian of the chaos crystals uses his morpher's magic to burn through the steel to free his friend he asks curiously. KNUCKLES Oh, what are they? TAILS Fire and water. KNUCKLES Ha-ha-haah, you're in the right place. TAILS Thanks Knuckles, let's get out of here. Meanwhile Ace is still struggling to free the trapped mutants when he yells over his shoulder for some backup help. ACE Ketchum! ASH KETCHUM Here Ace! ACE Activate your force shields and take a shot at that fire! EMMETT BROWN I'll give him a hand, junior! Then Doctor Brown and Ash take to the sky together and fly above the SEA OF FIRE. Ketchum uses his morpher to cast a glowing shield to block the spreading flames, prevent them from advancing on his friends below as Emmett uses his morpher to smother-knock down the fire with foam retardent until all the flames are extinquished completely. Finally the Hero of Earth lifts the steel beams off Vicki and her friends, tosses them aside as the mutants grab onto him. Then a shout comes from the platform, a section of which is still standing upright that did not collapse into the sea. CHRIS THORNDYKE Catch big brother! Heads up, incoming! Christopher launches a grappling hook & cable line from his morpher towards his sibling who snags it perfectly in both hands. Acting like he's hooked the Big One and reeling it in towards the boat, Chris Thorndyke Junior drags Ace, Vicki, Ceri, Aussie & Meredith safely through the water until they reach the platform and hauled onto the deck. Once back on dry ground the mutants thank their rescuers. AUSSIE SKUNK I don't know who you are but you saved our lives. ACE You're welcome. We are the Resistance Freedom Fighters, I am Space Ace, defender of truth-justice and planet Earth in the year 2015. EMMETT BROWN I am Dr. Emmett Lathorp Brown, Ace's father and 2nd in Command to the Resistance. We come from Hill Valley, a futuristic city in another time period on Earth. VICKI FOX What?! MEREDITH SKUNK Awesome, cool! KIMBERLY The year 2015AD. CERI BOBCAT But this is the year 2004, soon to be 2005AD of the future. EMMETT BROWN Of course, but where we come from is in a later year from your time so to speak. KIMBERLY In other words, we time traveled from our Earth to yours. AUSSIE SKUNK Wow...so you're time travelers, huh? ACE Correct, sir. And those who tried to hurt or harm you also came from our time known as the New World Order Syndicate. CHUCK THORNDYKE We must stop them before they conquer or destroy your world in 2004 or 2005. VICKI FOX Can we help? ACE I'm sorry but we are the only ones who can stop the nWo. AUSSIE SKUNK Wait a second, we know more about Earth in this time than you do. CERI BOBCAT Besides, you saved us and we can repay you by helping you defeat this Syndicate. EMMETT BROWN Hmm, maybe you have a point there, madame. CHUCK THORNDYKE Yes, perhaps you can help us. Alright, it's a deal. ACE Yes, welcome to the Resistance Force of 2015. MEREDITH SKUNK Excellent! But, I don't believe we've met before. VICKI FOX Yes, we've never heard of another Earth in 2015 or of Hill Valley. ACE Then would you like to be given a free guided tour of our homebase and learn about Hill Valley, what it's like in our time? ALL FOUR MUTANTS YES!!! EMMETT BROWN In that case, come with us then. So saying, Dr. Brown and company escorted their new allies, once they had transformed into their vehicular forms before the startled eyes of Vicki, Aussie, Meredith and Ceri and after some persuasion they reluctantly climbed into these vehicles and were driven off to the homebase of the Freedom Fighters to learn the secrets of Hill Valley and such. |
