During the skirmish between Resistance and Syndicate forces the commander steps onto a walkway leading outside onto the dam's surface when Ace confronts him. Lashing out in a perfect sidekick routine Borf sends the Hero of Earth off the catwalk towards the floor below but not before Ace grabs ahold of the support struts below the walkway and hangs on as Borf leers down at him. BORF Any last words? ACE None you'd want to hear Borfie. BORF Nothing can stop me now, not even you! At the same time the witch whippet takes aim with a fireball at Emmett Brown and Biff Tannen preparing to hit them. BELLADONNA So long, fools. Here's one super spitball special for you, hahahahahaah! She hurls the projectile directly at the time traveler and ex-bully who duck aside as though playing Dodgeball and the fireball explodes against a nearby console. Knocked off-balance by the shockwave blast Borf looks down and yells at his 2nd in command. BORF You fool, Bella! Help save the energon cubes, get them out of here! Suddenly Ace vaults back onto the catwalk and shoulder-tackles the space pirate out the door and onto the dam where they engage in bar-room brawl style. ACE You destroy everything you touch Borf. BORF Because everything I touch is food for my hunger, my hunger for power. ACE No! I'm going to end your hunger once and for all. He bodyslams Borf to the ground but does not follow up with his attack. BORF Almost, hero...but almost does not get the job done. You can't stop me. ACE You're old, commander. Ready for retirement. BORF We'll see who's going to retire first. (gets back to his feet) ACE Okay, you first then. BORF Silence! (dropkicks him) Hehehehehahahaah...when I get through with you Ace there won't be anything left to serve my cause. They continue their fighting. Down below near the riverbank were Vicki, Meredith, Ceri and Aussie waiting for McFly to resurface but no sign of their friend. AUSSIE SKUNK Marty! You all right down there? McFly is still fighting Randall Boggs underwater when the lizard monster slams him hard against the earthen wall that sets off a mudslide trapping the rockstar then heads upwards to the surface only to confront the mutants. MEREDITH SKUNK Hey, where's Marty? RANDALL BOGGS Butt off, fools! He whips his tail like a bullwhip and knocks over Meredith who falls onto her butt. That angers the others. VICKI FOX No one does that to my friend! CERI BOBCAT How dare you! Then they gang on Boggs who holds them off and sends them sprawling onto their backs, knocked unconscious and stunned. But not before Vicki screams for help, her voice rising above the air. VICKI FOX HEEEEEEEEELP!!! Ace turns his head in the direction of Ms. Fox's cries when Borf lashes out with a tornado kick that sends the hero of earth toppling off the edge of the dam and into the waters far below, then shouts down at his helpless enemy. BORF Who's planning on retireing now, Ace? You'll never stop me...heheheheehahahahahaah! He flies into the air, accompanied by his fellow Syndicate forces carrying the energon cubes and disappear from view. Ace is fighting for his life as he is swept downstream until somebody comes to his rescue. CHRISTOPHER THORNDYKE Big brother! Use this for emergency brake. (activates his morpher ring) He propells a grappling hook and cable across the riverbank and big brother snags it in one hand then held on tightly as his sibling reels him in like making the big catch. Meanwhile the mutants recover from their beating only to discover that Randall is gone and still no sign of McFly. VICKI FOX Marty?!! You still down there? MEREDITH SKUNK We better go look for him! CERI BOBCAT Yes, save him before he drowns! AUSSIE SKUNK I'll go save him. (he dove into the river) Aussie heads downstream towards the bottom and spots Marty fighting to get free from the mudslide and begins scooping frantically at the debris until he frees the rockstar then together they head towards the surface. Back on dry land...Marty starts CPU techniques on Aussie who passed out from attempting to hold his breath too long underwater while Vicki, Ceri and Meredith look on helplessly until the sports photographer revives... MARTY MCFLY Easy, McFly. You almost killed yourself trying to save me. AUSSIE SKUNK Thanks, Marty. I owe you one. MARTY MCFLY Leave it, okay? It is I who owe you for saving my life. VICKI FOX Thank goodness you're okay, McFly. CERI BOBCAT Yes...we thought you were dead. MEREDITH SKUNK Uh-huh... MARTY MCFLY Well, thanks to you I'm still alive. Shall we go join the others? EVERYBODY YES!!! Back below the dam and powerplant station the Freedom Fighters begin addressing the events of what happened so far. ANNABELLE Maybe we should repair our time machine, go back to Hill Valley and forget about the nWo. ACE We can't do that, Anna. If Borf succeeds here, he'll be impossible to beat on Hill Valley. AMY ROSE But we are not fighters like they are, Ace. ACE We must have courage, Rose. We cannot ignore the danger, we must conquer it. SONIC He's right...we must defeat the Syndicate if we are to protect the future. TAILS And we will win this war. EVERYBODY YES! DEATH TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER, VICTORY FOR THE FUTURE! |
